Apple and Intel---Together??? Absolutely!!!

Mainly lower power consumption and Apple wanting to grasp more of the Portable/Notebook Market share that PC's have are main reasons for this. It's G5 PowerPC processors have to be liquid cooled to operate at optimum level and they can't implement that technology into a notebook and be cost effective at the same time.
